Mateo M is an international artist and visionary who works with many different New Media techniques including Digital Light Painting, digital fireworks, interactive installations & immersive video environments. He has many years of global branding experience working with permanent art installations, print, web, broadcast and beyond. Originally from Marseille, France, Mateo obtained his Masters Degree in Art from the School of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg in 1997.

In 2002 he invented a New Media performance, Digital Light Painting. It has been defined as cutting edge live performance art at its best. One of the first to employ the method of painting live with digitally projected light. This innovative new technique of painting, has expanded beyond the canvas of the body to architecture and waterfalls. Mateo has provided his performance skills on some of the most extravagant productions in the world. Collaborating on projects with Cirque du Soleil, Virgin, Starwood just to name a few, his talent have taken him from Montreal to San Francisco, to New York, Dubai, Qatar and Paris, China, India etc..

Since 2008, he is specializing in creative conception, production and integration of large scale events and installations around the world. Working with leading figures in the field of creative direction, set design and performance technology, he has delivered stunning work in collaboration with leading companies like Moment Factory and MGM Special Events.
